    What does it mean when a fish shakes (trembles-like or shivers, for lack of a better description) for a second or two? I've seen this on more than one occasion while loitering in my LFS.

    Depends on the kind of fish I guess? Some fish tremble as an act of submission to a female or dominant fish of the same species.
