sharing other hobbies

I know many on here have other hobbies. One of mine is gardening and I've loved windowboxes. Thought I would share this year's with you. Also, I did get my pond up and running this year thanks to fellow reefers' advice (you know who you are )

 

Looking great! I love gardening as well. I personally play percussion and volleyball as hobbies.

 

Very cool! Pond looks great Do you have any rocks or anything you could use to hide the pump?

 

yes, I never give it a good effort to try and hide it. It really still needs some more landscaping around it....more mulch and weeded (obviously) The pump does kind of sit there.....it works wonders so I make sure it's pumping well

 

I do some gardening too. I'm working on Japanese maple trees and some nice orchids. All my orchids were supposed to drop all their flowers before September, yet 3 out of the 5 are still putting out new blooms. Not sure what I'm doing wrong .

Also enjoy soccer, ping pong, and I'm picking up pool in my spare time at college.

I'd like to say my car is a hobby, but I have no money to really do anything to it at the moment. haha

 

I like to golf, and snowboard, even though its pretty hard to get good at snowboarding since I live in Texas lol. My fiancé and I just bought our first house, so I am learning to garden. I am also starting to learn how to scuba dive.

 

I did archery a few years ago. Hoping to get back into it!

 

That green tube isn't a pump...it's a UV unit (if we're talking about the same piece of equipment). Nice job on the garden and the pond.

Renee loves to garden, and we have a little 3 pool cascading water feature in her little "hummingbird corner". She also loves photography.

I'm a FPS video game junky (even at 56!), and altho I no longer play for a living, I'm still a working musician.

 

Yes, the UV. I meant to say that I keep the pump clean of debris so that water goes through regularly. The hummingbird corner sounds beautiful. A video game junkie - that is great! I remember seeing that you play saxophone right?
