Is anyone from GA?? Well the reason I want to know if anyone is from GA, it's because none of my friends really share the passion of reefkeeping like I do, and thus I can't really talk to them about it much without boring them to death. Lol and it would be nice if for once I could talk to someone about reefing and share opinions etc.. Just like I do with all you guys here at 3reef but in person..

Does anyone else feel the same way? ( that they can only express themselfs about reefing here but not anywhere else?)

I also have two friends into the hobby. Both are members on this site and we trade information, livestock, corals, ect. regularly. it is a big help because we always have someone else to go to before we post here. more fish friends are always appreciated. :D

My good friends started asking questions after they saw my fish & corals. When they felt it was "way over their heads", they stopped asking and basically ignored me while daydreaming looking at my tanks.

My mommy's on this site :D So we get to talk and argue about what should or shouldn't go into the tank regularly...

In a family of 5, only 2 of us give a rip about reefing. My best friend has a 29 reef that's been running for 4 years, so that helps too :)

im with you elwes, nobody i know knows about fish tanks, let alone reefing. It would be nice to know someone local *that's around my age lol* to chat about tanks. With knowing nobody who knows about tanks i wonder how i will get someone to tank sit while i go out of town. I'd probably have to pay lfs or somebody off of craigslist to care for the tank. I'm sure it would really pay off to know someone local

Join a local reef club. I've met several locals that way.
