    it's conservationist stuff, basically saying that you'll practice good husbandry skills and not use it as sushi or anything

    oooo also, we were advised to get RO-DI water for the tank, but our tap water tested ok. so still hazy on the topic. since we are not going to do a reef, do you think it will be ok?

    no, do a ro/di no matter what esspecially with sharks, their very sensative to any fluctuations in the water quality to better to have a good standard set with your top off and water change source, better safe than sorry

    nice, another shark fan. becareful of the angels, they will sometimes like to pick on sharks. the brown banded bamboo is an easy shark but they loose there coloration as they get older, the whitespotted bamboo gets about the same size but has a cooler coloeration as an adult. you might also look at epaulette shark, my personal favorite. they cost more but r worth it. if u get a chance pick up " aguarium sharks and rays" by scott w. michael. the best book on aquarium elasmobranch out there(might be the only one) good luck and i can't wait to see pics
