it depends on how stable your water parameters are. i personally don't believe the "wait for 8 months to get an anemone" kind of concept.. it's about how stable your water parameters are and how well you maintain your tank. I started with my very first anemone 1 month into owning my first saltwater tank and up to this date it's thriving close to the two year mark now. of course it was a mistake looking back to purchase one so early but all i'm trying to say is monitor your tank and the water condition and if it's very stable, go for it

yeah i was thinking what the reason for waiting 8 months was. My water params stay the same for the most part. Anyone got an answer on building the sump inside the stand? I know it'd be annoying to work in there but its the only way i could get a sump in there to hold what i want.

This if very wierd now. My torch has done great since i bought it. Ive got more torches and they have grown a little from when i got it. Now yesterday when i got back from school the top branch of the torch was normal (swaying back and forth and expanded) and the bottom branch was hardly out. So i moved the torch sideways so the bottom would get more light and still today it looks the same. One branch looks good and the other bad. Anyone know what it could be?

Its getting lonely on this thread guys! ;) Anyways i just found something out! The middle piece of my stand is removable. So i can build my sump slide it in an bolt the middle back on. Unfortuantly it still has to be 10 inches deep but thats not to bad. So i need some advice on building my sump/fuge. First off are these dimensions even big enough to do that (33x10x16)? I want to keep my skimmer in there, heater, refugium, and anything else you guys feel would help out. Thankyou!
