anemones really should have MH, ppl may have success with T5s but they probably have 8 running on overdrive and have a shallower tank. the anemone will be ok under T5s assuming they find a place in the tank with enough light (probably near the top) and this search for a good living area can be trouble for other tank mates. I have 6 54w T5s and all my corals do well (LPS).
reason for waiting before buying anemone: on average tanks really are not considered to be established until their 1 year birthday sometimes longer (sometimes shorter). there are all sorts of biological stuff going on in your water where everyone is fighting for a spot and although this fight never stops as a tank matures the proper life is in place to support the endless battle without having swings in your params. anemones, i believe may not do well under such conditions and so ppl wait it out.
RODI: Bulkreefsupply.com (BRS) sells a filter i like but they are $$$ just look around online whatever it is you spend will be worth it as it pays for itself within a year. it sucks spending money on something so backstage but its one of the best buys for reefers.
may also want to think about GFO/Carbon reactors down the line, they do wonders getting rid off any algae.

Thanks for explaining all that. Im going to hold off then on the anemone untill i have halides. Could be a year or it could be a long time, who knows. But yes im going to check BRS right after this for the RO/DI. I deffinatly think it will be worth it. My water seems so clean and every water change i get diatoms so i need it for sure. Is a carbon reactor and carbon the same thing? For The sump im changing it up now. I have a closet that is very close to my tank so im going to keep my sump/fuge in there. Oh wow i was going to get a 350 gph pump, ill bump it up then and get something about 700. Thanks for the advice!

Got my sump and overflow last night. So alls i need now is my baffles, sand, return pump and the pumbing. Am i missing anything? If the sumps dimensions are 36x12.5x20 what should i get the baffles cut to be?

Looking to get started on my baffles. Im putting my skimmer on the left and the fuge on the right with the return in the center. From the skimmer section im directing the water over under over then under. Would that be to many bubble traps? And from the refugium side its just going to flow over to the return. Also how thick should the baffles be and how high should they go?

Im changing my sump and fuge design to just a sump and phosphate reactor. Any thoughts on how to set this up?

    Update

    update on my tank....

Bought my RO/DI system- proPLUS spectrapure just mounted and used today
    Carbon/phosphate reactor-BRS, came this week

My cousins comming over today to help plump my sump. But i have all the equpment already so by tomarow everything should be up and running.

Been battling slime algae and the last of it went away a week ago :)

And a couple days ago i had a MAJOR gren hair algae outbreak! haha its everywhere! but its wierd, i only have one patch on my rocks and the rest is just on the back wall and the power head. Either way it looks gross but im assuming with my skimmer, phosphate reactor and ro/di it will be gone in now time, right?

I saw that crab ive been after and it is UGLY. its yellowish, fury, about an inch, and had these red eyes. so if anyone knows what this might be thatd be great. So far the crab hasnt caused any problems so watever ill let him be.

Other than that the tank looks great and i cant wait to put fish in there again!
