She Always likes the Most Expensive fish in the Store

Today my wife and I went to a lfs in Framingham Ma, Tropical Isle Pet store. They have quite a selection lots of sw/fw/ciclids ect.

It never fails my wife always picks the most expensive fish in the place. We were looking at a tang and my wife asks what type it was, so I told here it was a Chevron Tang so she looks at the tank and sure enough it was $300 and only about 3 inches long.

She has great taste though, always picking out the best fish.....

Maybe someday when we upgrade to a larger tank.

That is a damned if you you do and damned if you don't with the wife knowing to much... My wife just knows that I put alot of time and time and time and time and money and time and money and time into the tank. She was looking at the tank with me today and asked when I got a zoa that has been there for about 2 months ... I even talk to her about it for about a week when I get new things... and she still asked that..

That is way over price for that fish. You need to search online.

 

I use to live about 20 minutes from there. They do have a large selection but prices were always outrageous. Health of fish is always in question also. Be very careful and always QT when getting anything from them.

 

I have seen them for less, just thought it was funny she picks one thats listed as being so expensive on the tank, there just have been 30 fish in the tank. lol

I'm not really looking to buy one right now, but will have to look just for the fun of it..

Its funny your should say that, we drive about 2 hours to get there from NH. I'v only bought a couple of fish there in the last year and 1 died right after we got home, the other 2, 1 died during an ice storm power outage, the other is fine.

Today we just got a small piece of green montipora and a 1 polyp dunkin, both look pretty good, but they are a little expensive..

Just doing a quick search I found one for $179, thats under $200 with shipping, $100 less than the one we say today.

 

That's funny... However, I guess I take the opposite role. The LFS where I work got a shipment of fish last Friday so I went to purchase fish today. I saw the fish I always wanted a marine betta/comet(the most expensive). We got two in the shipment at TT$840.00 = US$140.00. They looked magnificent. I was gonna buy one but my girl said hell no... So I ended up coming home with a niger trigger and a panther grouper... Still gorgeous fish... I still want my betta... She would never let me buy it lol:

 

Funny stuff!! I am so tempted to sneak things home from LFS but my daughter is home from college and even though the tank is new to her, she notices EVERYTHING!! Oh well....
