Shimmer Effect from LEDS?

    No, no.....you are speaking of "moon" lights. The ones I mentioned are real strong (the modules) and can grow coral. I have 2 modules along with 2 T5s and the shimmer is fantastic. The Stunners give the shimmer also with T5s but will not grow coral.

    I just ordered the Stunner strip with 8000k and 453 nm actinic. 'll let u know about the shimmer effect.

    I got the Exotic Stunner strips, two of them and they didn't give any shimmer effect at all. I sent them back. Don't waste your money on these for supplemental shimmer with your T5's because they don't work for that. Just from my own experience.

    I just saw this thread and was about to tell you that. I looked into this a little while back and from researching and hearing many people's experiences, the only sure thing to have a shimmer with T5s or PCs were to buy Reef Brite LEDS strips, or something similar. They will do it, but are very expensive.
