    Lets say you have a coral shipped overnight to you, it was raised under MH and you have vho or ho lights, so wouldn't the acclimation period be shortened or quicker you might say than a coral out of the wild or a cultured coral just because of the less intense light? I understand shipping stress so you start lower in tank maybe in shadows of rock and work your way up to desired light intensity right? I ask this because I just got some corals (zoas I'll post pics later) from reefpets all good polyps already opened, I guess I'm wondering how soon to move up to more intense light, there I said it lol

    I would still wait at least a few days. It's something you'd rather not rush.

    I have gotten away with not light acclimating properly and would not be surprised that I get caught if I keep doing it. Better safe than sorry.
