Chrimis' are a neat species when they school. For some reason I cant get more than 3 to stay alive in my tank. I have 3 that have been doing well for months now... Ive tried 5 numerous time before and two would always die. I think 3 is the magic number for a 90 gallon. Im sure if the tank was larger I would have been more successful.

    food for thought

Maybe I will try three. They are cheap, so if they die, it won't hurt too much financially (even though I will be sad!!).

Are they active and fun to watch?

.They are cool when they school. For $5-$8 its worth a try. I have young ones now. they do get pretty big.

Also they add nice movement to the upper half of the tank which is another good reason to get em. They will not go to the lower half of the tank.

Definitely a cheap school of fish compared to anthias which are pricey and are hard to keep.

yeah, I'm thinking I'll go with just one anthias. I do have an anthias in my 37 that's doing great! But he's a different kind, the perchlet, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

If you buy a pair they will be paired up. You can also get lucky like and get 2 that were cool together. That was online shopping though. It would be pretty easy to pick out two that appear to like each other at the LFS.
