I have seen bristle worms and some sort of a white worm in my sand substrate in my system.

Those are fine. If you see these, it is NOT fine to treat your tank and you MUST use a QT container of some sort. acoel flatworm - Google Search

Like I said, a quality Ammonia stabilizer will handle the other types of worms. You're going to want to replace them after treatment though.

I have never seen anything like this in my tank. The only other type of worm I have is feather dusters. I have heard though prazipro will not harm them. I will have some amon detox on hand in case I get a spike. Thanks for the info.

Good to know if I ever need to use the product...I doubt there are many/any flatworms left in my 46 dt due to the mandarins. ;D

So the general consensus is that my fish has an internal parasite and this is why it quit eating and is now hiding constantly correct?

I'd say, inwall75 knows what he's talking about.

You finally found your dream fish, and you didn't QT it. Angels don't always do real good with copper, but you should have at least used Prazi in a QT tank. It's a very safe, effective and easy treatment. You'll need a QT setup for the rest of the fish that you get anyway, may as well do it now.

I usually do a second dose after three days.
Also, when you dose Prazi, it tends to leave a slimy film over everything. You don't want that in your DT.

Yes I usually qt everything. In fact I have a yellow tang in qt. I paid a large amount of money for this fish and he is so large I just didnt want to place him in a small qt. Maybe more stress than needed? I dunno. I havent decided what to do yet. I have a 29 gal tank I could throw him in and start qt. Thoughts? I hate adding more stress.
