    My opinion is that would be a good desicion
    it is after all a fish you have wanted for a long time
    and Inwall75 gives great advice IMHO

    So making the effort to isolate and treat this fish, is what I would do, in your circumstances

    He is about 4 or so inches long. Rather large for a qt.....especially a 29 gallon. Do you forsee any other problems from this???
