Should I brush?

    Im getting a little light brown algea on my liverock and cc bottom. Should I brush it off with a toothbrush or leave it?
    Its a new tank, about 2 months

    It's most likely diatoms and will go away on it's own. This is normal for new tanks.

    no it wont. diatoms come off easily.

    yes, twice a day & floss!

    +1 on what everyone said, diatoms come on quick, look like crap, but then will slowly dissapear on their own. It's a rite of passage for all new tanks.

    It's a new tank so just keep an eye on your water params and leave it alone.
