I have been wanting a put together a really big tank, and I found a 220 on Craigslist with a motivated seller. I got the price down to 300 bucks with stand. The only hang up is that it does not have overflows drilled into it or Reef ready as I think they call it. My current tank is not either and I have never had a reef ready system. Is it a big deal? should I get it and live with it or skip it and hope for something better to come along.

with the stand and the tank at 300.00 I would get it and drill holes in it your self or just put a HOB overflow onto it and run with it ;D

I would buy it. You can do what rc_mcwaters3 and 2in10 have both recommended!

You can easily install an overflow box your self or drill. Just check the silicon and make sure it is not leaking.

Thanks for the input! I am way to scared to drill so I will use my hob setup.

I would highly recommend drilling it. Find a glass local company to do it for you if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself.

One of your LFS might even drill it for you.

I also say to go for it! Good price for a tank/stand. But I imagine you'll spend a nice chunk of change on lighting for a tank that big lol

Also - drill it yourself. Glass-Holes give you everything you need
