I personally wouldn't, but that's just my opinion. It doesn't give me the wow factor $200 should. I would buy it for $100 though. Just my opinion.

How much do they usually go for in Canada brand new? That may not be a good price here, but it could be in Canada.

Go for it! Also not to be so negative. If you have had your eye on it for sometime and you really like it, go ahead and get it. I've put stuff off I've really wanted to find that when I decided to get it someone else had already purchased it. That can also be dissapointing.

And if you use this practice enough, pulling the trigger on an inpulse buy becomes easy...like today, for me...$350 on corals.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
If you can talk the person down to 150.00 that would be more appropriate for that tank type used. I got the same tank with stand brand new for 300.00.

There can be a big difference is US verses Canadian prices. I have people back home always asking me to buy them stuff to bring back with me on my vacations to Newfoundland. A 24g JBJ on BigAl's US website is $299. On their Canadian website, it's $459. That's a big diffrerence. I know we are talking 12 gallons here, but there was no 12s on their site to compare.
