LTA(Long Tentacle Anemone) is the natural clown host i think, thats what i have for my pair..

nems need very strong t5s or leds..and depending on the tank any halide is fine..

next the need prestine water, and lower flow, at least low flow around the foot area..but it will move wherever..

you need an established tank of at least 6months..

    green bubble tips(GBTA) are easy..

some requirements differ depending on the nem..

if you can, try and find one from a local reefer that has had one split..they are more hardy than ones at the fish store that have been taken from the wild..or at least ask the fish store how long its been in captivity..

also dont every buy a white nem unless it is a sabea, white nems are bleached stressed out nems that are more prone to dieing

also always check the foot of the nem, if a nems foot gets damaged, it takes experienced reefers will superb water quality and lighting to bring it back

also i would lean away from condys, they are pretty and very easy but are extremely mean and sticky, and they usually dont host clowns..alot of beginners are attrached to them since they are around 10$, but they are known to eat fish..but all nems could eat the fish it hosts, but condys are super mean and should be left in the wild..

Simple answer, no. But, if you really want one then you need to have perfect water conditions and nice lights. A bubble tip anemone is probably the easiest to keep.

I would say GBTA are the more "easy" nems to keep, they still are hard, but as long as your params are stable and everything then your good.

    But answer these question

    1.How old is your tank?
2.How stocked is your tank?(coral wise)
    3.What size is your tank?
    4.What is your lighting?

For some clowns an LTA is the natural host, for percula and occelaris I believe the natural hosts are carpet nems and sebae nems. Do not attempt to keep either because the carpet gets huge and the sebae is the hardest to keep nem there is

so yeah for the OP..GBTA or LTA would be ok..but you must have the room for them to grow, and you need an established tank and you need some experience..established tanks dont have the parameter swings like new tanks do..this can stress out the nem and kill it, nuking your whole tank

if your looking for a clown host, toadstools are excellent, and they are easy to find, and when grown larger take a look of a carpet nem..clowns absolutely love toadstools..
