LFS is having a sale on these guys for 7.99, i was thinking of picking up a pair for my 75gal.

Anyone have experience with these guys?

Ive always just loved eels but dont want to put them in my reef and risk my fish. So figured this was a safe alternative! :)

might pick them up today if you guys think they would be a good addition :)

I have never had engineer gobies. I wanted to get them at one point, but then I heard that they get big and destructive.

yea 12"! and they burrow under your rock and can cause damage if the rock work is on the sand not on the bottom glass.

I am moving in a week and plan to put egg crate under the rock work so that nothing can burrow under it. so that wont be a problem.

If you are moving in a week, I'd wait. The fish might not take 2 moves (3 including lfs?) so close together as well, and it's 2 less fish to catch (especially some that burrow). Also, the more bioload there is, the larger the chance that the system could have problems from the move.

I'd ask anyway! If you purchase them, then and there. They may hold them.
