Not a bad deal, though I wouldn't call it a "steal." I notice you're in Buffalo so you might not have the same breadth of Craigs List offers as other areas, but I've found some amazing deals on Craigs List if you're patient.

As a point of reference, here are a couple deals in the same ballpark price in the local area that I found in 3 minutes of searching on Craigs List:

Aquarium with stand, Euro reef Inc.

55G SW Aquarium w/ stand and complete system including fish

Yea I've seen a lot better deals, how long have you been checking CL? I usually check my city and about 5 others w/i driving distance a few times a week for deals and something like this doesn't seem terribly attractive. Personally, if I'd sold everything and needed to buy everything again, I'd look for someone getting rid of rock too as that usually doesn't seem to drive up selling price as much as it should.

I would still shop around if I were you. Just might get more bang for your buck.

well i wasnt really looking to "restart" i guess youd call it. I still have my entire 75g set up that im going to be putting back up some day, but right now im not in a permanent home so i have to work with something smaller, where if i have to pack up and go i'll be able to do it alot easier than say a 55g +
