dude books are cheap compared to tuition!
I go to PSU. Our tuition for in state is $9000 and some change PER SEMESTER
Out of state tuition is $16000 PER SEMESTER
by getting these credits now you will likely be able to get more grants and scholarships when you actually go to college.

But ill warn you, college isnt anything like high school. Its a much more mature world where everyone has their own pursuits and interests and you are not required to conform to a specific path of actions. You pretty much can make your own decisions and seek out activities and interests that please you. This means more responsibility so my question for you is are you ready to take this on.

I'm ready. I'm already taking honor classes which is equal to a college class.

Yes do it get some corses out of the way. That way when you decide what major to go with you can load it up instead of having to take a bunch of basics.

Because the classes are free.... Yes... It's a great opportunity.

Other than that I honestly wouldn't encourage my kids to do it. Life only comes by once. Life long memories aren't made while your nose is in a book.

Now, I'm all for education. You need it, no doubt about it. I don't see a need to try and finish early.

YES, DO IT! I did not think I needed school, I was making 6 figures, then lost my job in the recession, and could not find work. Went back to school, got my MBA, and now companies want to interview me.

Take it from a guy that went back to school when he was 38, with 2 kids and a wife. Get as much education as you can while you are young, and have less responsibility.

Hey dingo long time no see!! Crappy lose vs Ohio state... :( I would definitely say take the credits. I must warn you however high school honors courses are nothing like most college courses (minus electives) I got a 4.01 out of 4.0 in highschool. My honors classes I might of had to study for like 2 hours for the tests. In college you have to literally study for an entire day to get an ok grade. I don't want to scare you, just letting you know what your getting into. On a side note thought, join a fraternity if you can....greatest thing I have ever done
