I am thinking of getting an Apex pH module for my Apex Jr. Its going to be $150 investment to monitor my pH, do you guys think its worth it? What will I gain in being able to monitor my pH on a regular basis?

Absolutely. I have a reef angel controller and since I have been graphing pH over time I am noticing huge swings that I am about to start to address. I suspected as much but I could not confirm until I had the Controller. I still need to calibrate it better bit the swings stand out on their own.

It's a necessity if you use Kalk.

I have 3 part and will dose as needed. Things are steady now but as soon as the coralline starts to grow it will start to shift and will need dosing. My last tank did not grow coralline and could not figure out why despite all my efforts, thinking pH might have been the cause

While chasing and artificaly inflating the pH is bad. Knowing what your pH does is hugely beneficial. I use it to see trends.

This is good advice. Don't chase pH. Use it to help understand tank stability.
