should i smash it into smaller pieces?

    i have a large rock that takes up a lot of room but i have a small aquarium. i am re aquascaping and was thinking that i could smash it up now. i dont have room for it otherwise. should i do it? need to know kinda fast. its like a 9 lbs piece.

    I had to do the same thing last night, helped out a ton on my aquascaping.

    the anaerobic bacteria inside will make both a mini-cycle and will make a bacteria bloom in your tank

    let me guess the bacteria bloom is bad right. i know the mini cycle is. should anything die? im gonna do a water change this weekend anyways.
