I was wondering today, as I was looking at an awesome little Green Bubble Tipped Anemone that was very healthy, if I should try one or not.

For lighting I have a 48 in Current Nova Extreme Pro, my tank has been set up for a bout 4-5 months, I have two misbar clowns that would like a little place to hang out, and my levels test perfectly every week.

Should I try one? What do you guys think? If you need anymore info, just ask.

Some say not to do one until 9 months or a year... but i dont totally agree with this.
Your setup sounds like it will work. I have had a few nems in a much smaller tank with much less lighting.
    I had 2 LTA's outgrow my tank.

My question.. is do you have any coral or plan coral? nems will wander and sting whatever in their path.

Anemones are annoying and can be a constant source of irritation. They are a time investment. Look at some of the recent anemone panic threads (my anemone did X!) and the tank crash threads (my anemone jumped into the intake and my whole tank died!). Anemones can't jump you say? Explain how it got into that intake then! Just because you've never seen it doesn't make it not true! Dolphins play soccer with jellyfish. True story... disciplinary cards, corner kicks, and soccer riots! I saw it in National Geogrphic.

Ehh... most nem incidents are b/c someone doesnt know enough about them.
Once they get settled and if your requirements are right and dont change.. they wont move. They only move if they are unhappy.

They do not jump so to speak. They inflate with water and float around in the water column. I have seen many get stuck in powerheads, I have seen tanks nuked.

Bottomline, if you keep them happy and watch them, you wont have an issue.
You may want to cover your powerheads with foam if you have a low prop type powerhead or a few of them.

I kept two long tentacles in a 30" tank with a koralia k2 with no cover until they got too large for my tank and I traded them in at the LFS. The oral discs were around 4" and the ball of tentacles were huge.

Go for it, BTA's are the easiest of the nem species to keep and if you keep them happy enough will split. Sometimes will split like crazy and you will be giving them away. When you do, look me up lol

EDIT: Now they are annoying if it is a coral tank. They will sting everything in their way if they do move. They will most likely move for a few days getting settled in, so i wouldnt really tempt one in a tank full of coral.

I do have quite a bit of SPS and soft Corals, but they are still on frag plugs and are easy to move. Since I have quite a bit of corals, should I not try it then?

Also, will anemones be aggressive towards cleaner shrimps, peppermint shrimps, tuxedo urchin, hermit crabs, snails, etc?

One last thing, I have 3 Korallia powerheads in my tank, and no overflow. Would I need to cover these powerheads with something?

It is up to you if you tempt one. It is a risk. Nems are always a risk but very neat creatures.
If it goes and the body breaks apart in your tank.. it will nuke your tank.

It will move around and sting your corals until it gets situated.

BTA will be fine with any type of living organism.

I have though, seen a massive carpet eat a blue hippo lol
