What advice would you offer to a person fairly new to saltwater and wanting to get one? Anything specific?

keep an eye on it until it finds its spot, until it finds a spot it will move

There is nothing like watching a clownfish inside its anemone. It makes the tank very interesting.

Do you already have clownfish you want/expect to host the anemone? I was never able to get an ocellaris to host my BTA(s). If you don't yet have a clown I'd recommend a tomato since it will readily host a BTA.

Most of the time they don't move. Several months ago I had mine start wandering. I eventually got it back to it's original location and it stayed put. They also wander after they split. I've had two splits. I now have 3. I do worry about a run in with my Koralias. After they split I wrap them in netting since I know they will be on the move.

I agree with pg reef i hvae like 6 tangs and wrasses and tons of corals but i coudl sit and stare at my maroons hosting my LTA allllllll day, just watching the interaction is amazing, esp during feeding time, they will feed the nem before they eat for them selfs

Yup. They usually feed their anemone first. Here is a video of mine doing it. This wasn't long after it split the first time so the anemone is pretty small here.

Yes, I already have two misbar oscellaris, which I can now tell that one is definitely a female and the other male.

And it looks like according to your tag that you have the same/similar T5 setup as I do and your nem is on the bottom of the tank. How well does that work out for you? Do you have a complete reef setup?
