I am thinking that it is the same or better than RO/DI water, no?

    Thanks,

Rodi is better. Distilled has soooo many variables. Copper pipes used, did they run it through a filter, price in the long run, and the way i understand it distilled concentrates the bad stuff in the water too. I would try to get a rodi

I have done many many threads on distilled vs RO/DI. Copper pipes in distillation apparatus are a thing of the distant past. Still today are glass or epoxy lined exotic metals like titanium and high grade stainless steels.

Distilled water is also pretreated before the distillation process so chances of contaminants are slim to none.

My oder of prefernce is owning your own RO/DI first so you alone have control of your water quality followed by purchased RO/DI from a trusted source, then distilled followed by bottled RO.

Distilled is fine for small systems but gets expensive to buy for a larger system especially when you consider making RO/DI is usually less than a nickel a gallon including water and sewer rates and replacements filters and resins.

I used distilled water from kroger for about 2 years before i finally got my RO/DI system. Had no problems at all and i saw no difference from the two. Even checked my parameters with both and they were the exact same thing. Just your opinion.....
