Should I worry ?

    I fear the use of supplements....i guess a water change everyday is in my future.

    I think when you get your Mg kit you will see that it is very low, after you bring to within levels your Ca will be easy to adjust. If you have corals and have never tested for Mg your salt will not sustain magnesium levels unless you do water changes weekly

    OK,
    So here is what the Mg test revealed. 1400.
    I checked my Ca today and it was 420.

    After reviewing the threads, i noticed the section about REALLY shaking the purple up, so I did and I noticed it was thicker. After three doses of this, my Ca went to 420 and the Alk stayed at 2.5, PH 8.6, Dkh, 8 and 1.022

    So, I am thinking the Purpleup was user error on my part. Still doesnt explain the failed attempts at the B-Ionic product. The LFS guy said that the B-Ionic could have been because at the time my numbers were out of whack and it couldnt compensate.

    Once my PurpleUp bottle is gone, I may try a few doses of the B-Ionic again to see if I can get stable results.
