Thanks for all the replies!! i will consider what i can get in my price range, i have a red sea 34g and it has also been a money pit, with no room for mods. BUT they look nice.
I found a 90G stocked tank on craigslist for $1000 i am going to look at. I think it will help me make a decision. (may be bringing home a new tank!!)
    Thanks everybody..

Great thread idea. I'd love to see everyone's all in one tanks. I'd go buy a redsea250 right now if I had the cash haha. I really think theres huge money to be made in more all in one reef ready systems. Piecing a tank together for your first time can be super overwhelming and expensive. Companies should really think about making more like the 250.. Everything you need with one cord coming out of the back. There's just not many sizes available on the market. Anyways.. bump for more pics!

Patience is key. You can find all the parts you need to build your own system how YOU want it if you give it time. I just upgraded from a 55g with a 30g sump to a 100g with a 48g sump for way less than $2500. Lights and skimmer are the most expensive items. But there are deals out there if you keep an eye out. Come up with a list of what you want and search CL, local reef clubs, and other sites if needed. A lot of my stuff is used from members here and I can say everyone has been very honest and great to deal with. I havent had any issues with buying or selling here on 3Reef.

Yeah.. Thats what everyone does. For the trade to attract more new people interested in the hobby, there needs to be more, affordable plug and play tanks. The average person starting a tank doesn't scour craigslist and reef websites looking to piece together used parts.. We do, because we know its the most cost efficient way to get what you want. The average person goes to petco or wherever and looks at prices and buys their stuff there. Like I said.. I think theres a ton of money to be made for the company that comes out with a full line of nice moderately priced all in ones.
