HeY Zectra! How ya doing?? Yeah, I need new standpipes. Advise me. I have 1" bulkheads coming, that what size the holes are. Yes all of them are the same size, so I knowI'm going to have to do reducerson the returns to get them to fit, inorder to get good pressure coming out. What's your design for exporting and importing water to and from the sump?

Also, I am going to use my 55 and split it up for a sump and nice fuge.

Use one of these 2" Fix-It Coupling PVC s the pipe for your standpipes. They work great and allow you to adjust the height of your tank water without cutting new pipe. They have it in all sizes and it adjust up and down about 4 to 6 inches.

Linda those pipes like you have now will do nothing at all to help in totally skimming the surface water clean and clear But they will make plenty of noise.. You really should think about internal overflow boxes ,

Got any suggestions Tangster? I'm searching for all these different things and getting confused. I guess I need plumbing 101. All I've ever been told is hot on left, cold on right and s*#t don't run up hill........... I'm looking at Austin Oceans overflow boxes. Not sure what size I would need. BLAHHHHHHH.........I hate being confused. I've got so many questions, that I can't even figure out how to word them..... Anyone good at this stuff wanna draw me a diagram? I'll measure my tank and holes and see what y'all can come up with? How bout it, anyone wanna give it a shot?

Can you buy just the plastic walls to make 4 separate overflow boxes around each pipe? After cleaning up the inside of tank really well, you could just silicone them in. With new bulk heads and standpipes, you'd be good to go. I've been wondering how the 135 was coming along.

Well see there you go reading what people think they know LOL Hey S**t will run up hill I have sent tons of it up a hill from the bottom of a 100 ft plus deep communal well to a main city sewer system.. and from basement bathrooms.. Its really rather simple until you start to research it :) Right off I'd cap those Bulk heads you now have as they are to far out and drill new ones in the proper amount and locations. There are plenty of smart set up guys in here to draw you a picture .. I've read their post .

But take a look at Kogles 180 string see what he did with the overflows and follow his how to thats is what you need to get to. he has the answers :)
