    Hey Guys,

I know a lot of people on here have some beautiful SPS and LPS corals. I was hoping to get a thread going where we can showcase some of the new growth tips/edges, where for a while, show nice contrasting colors with the rest of the coral. It would be cool to see some of the different color combinations out there - especially with the higher end chalices/stonies. I don't have too many very nice or large ones yet, but I'll kick it off with what I do have -

Sorry for not so great handheld shots.

Kind of bland green millie but the new growh contrasts out to a deep purple and then teal-ish outer rim:

Pink Prostrata with green growth ring:

Yellow Stag - New growth tips for a short while have blue polyps kind of retracted now though.

Hard to capture yellow millie - outer edge has bright neon green growth:

Ora Blue Green Tort I scored off Guitarman, which has a blue body but purplish growth ring.

Kinda a stretch on that last one, I'll admit :p

Anyone else have some cool contrasting growth?

This is the best I have so far. You can see the polyps are a brighter green in the new growth are and there is a white growth ring around where it is encrusting more but it's hard to see in that pic.

    Thank you, coralline.

That's a good looking piece, and the noticeable growth makes the polyps nice and bright.

    Anyone else?

War and Peace Favia frag. Found the right place for it, and its's growing fast now. The edges of the plug were cut off after the first picture, and the last two were at night with a flashlight.
