I'm building my water change station close to my utility room,I'm just curious If any of your fellow forum reefers can take a few shots on your water change station If you have...what I'm looking for is where your RO is located and brute drums or rain barrels are taking mixing into effect...
I want ideas and by you fellow reefers sharing this at least i have more of a comfort building and designing mine...

I'm currently still in the midst of mapping out how I want to plumb my RO/DI unit and all that so don't really have pics. I normally just hook the unit up to the faucet and make 10g one night a week. Then I just pre-mix 5g in a bucket with a heater/powerhead for a day before the change.

I just got a resevoir for my ATO so am hoping to plump my RO/DI and have it feed directly into the reservoir and a seperate container for the water changes. If all goes well it will be awesome, but it's going to be a little complicated as the water supply and tank/reservoir are very far apart and on the 2nd floor.

Nothing fancy here. I just siphon water from my ATO reservoir. The RO/DI is plumbed from the basement to the ATO reservoir. There is a shut off float valve in the ATO.

Here is my set up. I took over out utility room in the basement where my 75gal is. So for this is working out pretty well here are some pics. I have my Q tank, RO/DI unit, 'water barrel', and shelf with all of my dog grooming and fish stuff. Oh year and the freezer with all of our food.(Makes a great water testing table... ;))

I have a bright orange brute-type container/tub with handles that holds probably 15 gallons if you fill it to the rim. We have 2 of the clear 5 gallon containers & 2 of the blue 7 gallon containers (and 2 in the garage we don't use) to hold RO/DI water. Pour in the 2 blue ones, plug in the powerstrip with the heater & 2 small powerheads, and add salt. The container's under the table in the kitchen, one clear RO/DI water container next to the tank and 3 in front of the coat closet door. The RO/DI is set up in the hall bathroom next to the toilet with the containers being filled in the bathtub...waste water down the drain.

Now you know why I don't bother to take a pic! LMAO
