I got kicked off RC for arguing a Sailfin could be okay in a 72g. Gotta watch out for the po po's. How ever, I'm ready to take him out as he is growing fast...Bought him when he was the size of a fifty cent piece. Guess I should post a pic. Tomorrow, only atinics on right now.

It probably wouldn't be ok for the long haul, but it could definitely be there for a while if you get it small. Did they seriously ban you for that?

Probably? Sailfins get real big. Tangs are such a common reef fish. I don't think the average or beginner reefer realize how quickly they can grow, and how aggressive they can get, BUT, that doesn't mean they are trying to do harm to their fish. Even without the tang police, there comes a time when the owner realizes that their tang has to go. There are Seahose police, too, btw. :whip:

More or less. I argued in a moderately arrogant way about it and got kicked off. I could re-register but I have found I like this site much more so I don't plan on it.

Quick shot of my Sailfin Tang. Was battered and missing most of his sail when I got him. Also he has grown 2/3 of the size he was when I picked him up. His little hippo friend didn't want a photo of herself today.

I guess we never see them because they take so long to respond?
