    I am running three 250w DE pendants w/ Pheonix 14k bulbs. I also have two 4ft vhos in there for supplement. I get great growth with this combo. the pics make it look really blue, and it does have a blue tint in person, but the pics make it more drastic, at least I think!.. the first pic when it was cycling with 10k XM bulbs.. they made everything look like crap, even the vho supplment couldnt outcompete the yellow

    I was running T5ho on the 72gal.. 2 geismann actinic+ and 2 geismann aquablue gave me a pretty good blue look and decent growth. I was going to do T5 on the 180 but I am in love with the mh look now.

    my tank doesnt look much different now then it did 2 years ago
