    It looks really dark in the cup but whenever I dump it out its not at dark...seems to collect a lot of crap in the neck and makes it look darker.

    Here's my aquamaxx HOB unit after about a day and a half, this stuff is mighty raunchy when I clean it! Overall I like its performance though, works really good, empty it about every 5 days or so and it's always dark nasty skimmate.

    Its a bubble magus 150 I think or 160. I'm not sure how long its been but the skimmer is way overkill for my tank.
