    Here's my SWC 160. It pulls out two full cups of dark-tea colored skimmate a week from my fairly heavily fed 60 gallon system! Albeit I prefer a fairly wet skim (easier to clean/doesn't clog drain), but the SWC cup is pretty big.

    This is the only picture of it that I have... the skimmate looks lighter than it actually is.

    Shes only been up for 2 weeks...have her pulling very wet with auto drain out...

    I didn't have the o-ring when I dug this out of storage, but i thought the o-ring was really just to raise/lower the height of the collector cup. Raising it higher produces a dryer skimmate while lower is a wetter. I had dry skimmate at the lowest position so I didn't really think anything of it.

    I am able to control the height of the cup by wedging a piece of folded paper, but again I didn't really see the need to increase the height because it was skimming very dry.

    If I totally misinterpreted the purpose of the o-ring please let me know, as I want to optimize the performance.
