shrimp compatibility

    i have a skunk cleaner shrimp and want to add a coral banded shrimp.will they be ok together in a 55 gallon reef?and is there a down side to having a coral banded shrimp in a reef?

    i've had them together in the past with no problems.
    Boxer shrimp are quite cool, they dont hide like most shrimp.

    I would be worried about the CB getting larger then the cleaner and possibly killing the smaller cleaner shrimp. I have had CB in my reef with no problems at all. Also I have never had any cleaner shrimp but have read that they can sometimes nip at corals.

    I have a cleaner and a coral banded in my tank,they get along just fine,both about the same size.

    I have a CB, Skunk and 3x Peppermint's in my 58g, The CB is very territorial and actually keeps the skunk and peppermint's away from his side of the tank, once they get big they get very aggressive and I've actually seen him take cheap shots at fish as well as they swim by

    Have had both in both main and nano for long time...no problems.

    CB shrimp is quite agressive towards fish in tank...might be issue if you had some real small ones. :-/

    Otherwise a great shimp...8)
