Ok we'll I've been giving some thought on adding a few new inverts to my eco.
I want to get a pair of fire blood shrimps and 1 harlequin shrimp...
My first question is upon the compatibilty of these inverts to my already have inverts..
    the Inverts I have are:
a pair of 3 Inch skunk cleaner shrimps
a pair of 2 Inch peppermint shrimps
a 4 Inch coral banded shrimp

the shrimps have been living in peace for 9 months now and molt on a normal basis...
I snotice my banded is the boss on the eco becuase once he comes out from hiding and grabbing flake food the cleaners and peppermints move to a certain area away from him...

as for fish I have are as follows:
    1 large yellow tang
    3 percula false
    1 sixline wrasse
    1 orange spotted goby
    3 blue/green chromis
    1 ebili angel(just purchased)

I also wanna add in that the harlequin shrimp is 1 and a half Inch in size
the fire blood shrimps are 2 Inches in size.

IMHO i would skip on the harliquin shrimp they only eat sea stars which can get very expensive
also i watch the six line wrasse because mine ate my peppermint shrimp
all the shrimp should get along execpt the CBS might show some aggresion

That would be a lot of shrimp for an 83 gallon.

Haha. That sounds like what my response would be. :p

5 shrimp is a bit more than what most people would have in their tanks, but I don't think that is a problem at all. I would be worried about aggression of the coral banded shrimp toward the other guys...and also the wrasse toward the shrimp, like mentioned above.

I love harlequin shrimp. They look very cool. But I don't think I would ever get a pair (or even one). Their diet consists almost purely of starfish. You would have to have starfish (several) just to be had as food. That would get pretty expensive...and I like starfish too. :) :p

In my 29g...I plan to get 2 pacific cleaner shrimp, two pederson shrimp, and 3 - 5 sexy shrimp. But pederson shrimp and sexy shrimp only get about an inch long, each.
