    I've never acclimated anything longer than 30 minutes. Except on delivery days when there's too many bags to empty in a timely manner.

    Agreed. Long 1 or 2 hour acclamations end up causing problems with O2 levels and the difficulties of maintaining temp. 30 minutes is usually fine

    I had two peppermint Shrimp in my tank one died from it being eaten by my Arrow crab :angry: the other is still alive and i acclimate them by letting it sit in the water for 30 min then added a small coffee cup of my tank water into the bag every 5 min for a hour and emptying it when it had to much water and its a month later and the peppermint shrimp is still cleaning. I did the same thing with my starfish but it died 27 Days latter no star ever lasted in my tank i don't know why.
