I brought home 2 cleaner shrimp 2 weeks ago. The first died in 2 days. Now the second one has died. All water perim. look good and fish, corals, snails, starfish and hermits look to be in good condition. Any advice in what may be wrong or what I can look for?

What water parameters are you referring to? How long have you had the tank?

I have had the tank set up for 3 mos. I bought it already set up. It was setup for around 7 yrs before I got it.
    PH 8.3
    sg. 1.025
    calcium 450
    ammonia 0
    nitrite 0
    nitrate is around 10
I was wanting to know of anything to look for before a bigger problem arises.
    Thanks

Test for copper. Looks like you have lots of corals so I doubt that's the problem but may be a good idea to test anyway.

I could not keep a cleaner shrimp for the longest time . I went checked everything until one time i looked and one of my fish was picking (trying to eat him). So i found a huge shrimp and he has been fine ever since. So make sure one of your fish is not killing it.

I don't see Alkalinity or Magnesium. Also, see if you can take water to LFS or somewhere and check for Iodine. What else is in the tank?

My Royal Gramma kills my shrimp and usually eats them... I quit keeping shrimps. Until the Gramma kicks the bucket anyway

Im willing to bet it is an iodine deficiency, i lost one that way and cleaners need a decent amount of it in the water, check your iodine levels

Thats interesting... I have had my nano cube set up for probably 5 years now, I had a cleaner shrimp in it for about 6 months before I got my royal gramma, then it died. I thought old age, or maybe not enough iodine, as i was dosing not regularly. So I went to the LFS a few weeks later bought another cleaner, and it was gone within two weeks. No trace of it either, no molt or dead body, that I seen atleast. Maybe that was my problem too.

I had a longnose hawkfish, that was pretty small in my 75 once, and I had two very big cleaner shrimp, they looked way to big to fit into the mouth of the hawk, but I actually got that guy in the act. Im going to try to dig up the pics, as it was somewhat entertaining, even though I liked my shrimp better anyways.
So I would say check your fish out.
If I find the pic, I will add it, you might get a laugh out of it
