    Im looking for a goby that will pair with the red banded pistol shrimp. I want it to have personality, but also good coloration. I would also like it to be one of the bigger species, as i have a 75 gallon

    i dont know why but the spotted oens are kinda bland to me

    Most of the gobies that pair with shrimp are smaller. They're mostly from the Amblygobius and Stonogobiops genuses, so look through those gobies and find one you like, then go to Google and see if that one is a shrimp goby to verify it.

    Pink Spotted watchman...i have one in my tank with a red pistol.. the goby is about 6" long...and nice colors, but i dont really get to see him much because he lives under a giant clam shell ;)
