shrimp can be delicate to SG swings, so ATO's help.

I would say let the tank mature a bit, sounds pretty new. But when you do get to that point, add a peppermint. If it survives for a few months (if it can molt and stuff) get a fire shrimp.

EDIT: Yes a peppermint and fire are compatible ;)

Ask them if they can get you one. My LFS will order anything I ask them to. They also know that I will turn them down if they do not look right. But so far they have not dissapointed me.

i was say if you did all of that u will have an overstoked tank. ur only haveing a ten gallon so sadly that maroon is going to half to go. then still thouse two fish get preety big i think only one of the two left could go in and that is pushing it a bit

yeah the cycle ended a week ago. I do manual top offs and salinity and water level are kept pretty stable. Whenever it goes below level I just fill up till its back at the level i want it at (put a sticker to indicate where it should be.) And I didnt know fire shrimp and peppermints were compatible; peppermints at my LFS are with cleaners and the blood shrimp is alone in one of those little containers

shrimp are very sensitive to swings (but i had an "accident" where salinity went past 1.040...guessi got lucky?;)) yeah i would try with a skunk cleaner shrimp, then do a trade, ICYDK fire shrimp are also cleaner shrimp, any shrimp with white antenae(sp.) are classified as cleaner shrimp.
