I was trying to get a "true" peppermint shrimp. I read the stories about the possible of them aitaspia. I don't have any now but it is good insurance. Anyway I was trying to get the true peppermint shrimp. I picked one out and tried get the LFS employee to get it but it hid in the live rock. So the employee went to pick up the live rock and shaking it to get the shrimp out . I should of walked but I ended up taking the shrimp that she got out of the rock. I didn't get the shrimp I wanted. I got a "rathbunea" the one with the finer coloring and dots. I was wondering if these still eat aitaspia or if I am out $7?

Visual Id on them is super sketch, Ive seen 3 books id them diufferently. The ones that go to town on ap's are somewhat scarce, good luck finding a small store to know how to id them. As for the shaking.....i wouldnt be so tenderfooted, i bet you wouldnt buy fish if you saw the way most collectors handel them....or you would at least be amazed that they live to make it to the fish store let alone your tank.
