Is it possible to keep different species together? I currently have a pistol shrimp, I would like to add skunk cleaners, a fire shrimp, maybe sexy shrimp or peppermint shrimp. I currently have a pair of O clowns, a yasha goby with the pistol, and three dwarf blue leg hermits. I plan to add three Bengaii cardinals, a flame angel, and a six line wrasse. Oh and its a 55 fowlr. Thanks in advance for the advice, I really love all the little guys.

The skunks, fire and peppermint might fight but I think the others will be OK.

I imagine sexy shrimp would be a meal for the Fire Shrimp and Cleaner Shrimp eventually.

I myself have never had an issue with Sexy Shrimp eating corals but other have, especially GSP.

Peppermint shrimp ate all my Maxi-Mini anemones quickly and badly harassed by LPS. Peppermints also have a reputation for eating LPS.

I would go for the Fire Shrimp (my favorite shrimp) and the Skunk and hope for the best, there is a chance that one will eat the other.

+1,peppermints devoured my nice large hammer and frogspawn before I was able to remove them.

No corals for me so that should be fine, am I right they I shouldn't need to worry about the fish eating the shrimp?

Not sure if a six line would be an issue with the sexy.
