Blood shrimp are great but will hide most of the time unless you get more than one (safety in numbers and all that). Sexy shrimp are also great and will spend the day wiggling their butts at you and most likely will nest in an anemone or any coral that looks like one (mine used to hang out in a frogspawn) Wait until your tank is completely done cycling before adding shrimp though as they are very sensitive to water conditions.

blood red shrimp is pretty but shy - will set up a cleaning station but rarely seen unless its feeding time.
The sexy shrimp is small and hard to spot full stop, also a lovely little snack for anything with a big enough mouth! But they shake their booty!

I have 2 peppermint shrimps, they never come out during the day, only see them wondering at night. Also they cleaned up a nice little aiptasia problem i was getting. Joes juice never worked for me, got those 2 guys and the problem is gone. It is hit and miss though from what I have read but I love mine. I had a coral banded shrimp in my old tank, he was huge and not shy at all.

sexy shrimp are way cool, but only in a small tank as they will be lunch for anything that is big enough to eat them!! peppermints are ok, they dont really do much, but it is funny how they sway around when they are sitting on a rock or something
