My clowns swim around mostly during the day and only hang out by the anen. at night.

Flow has alot to do with it, lights also. It will probalby move around some more- wait.

An anemone will move where it wants to, there is no way that you can tell it where to go. You can offer it conditions that might be favorable to it, such as a nice size crevice in a rock for it to sink its foot into, moderate flow, and good lighting. But in the end, it all comes down to where it wants to stay. You continually trying to move it into a more viewable location is most likely stressing it out even more, and causing it to wander even more. When I placed both of my nems in my tank, I first moved the rocks around a little and placed one that had a hole in it roughly the size of the nems foot in a location that received decent lighting and had good flow. I then killed the powerheads and return pumps for a short period, just until it attached itself to the rocks. That way the flow wouldn't blow it around while it was trying to settle. Once it was attached, I turned all of the pumps back on so it knew what the flow would be like. I got lucky and both of my nems liked their little holes, makes them feel more secure with their foot firmly secured in a hole, and never moved but maybe an inch.
