damage to the fins suggests aggression and the spots are probably a consequence from the stress caused by bullying and acclimation?

sadly i don't think there is much you can do aside provide a balanced diet and observe the situation :S. flame angels are beautiful (and expensive) fish but they are also very delicate. hope he pulls through and adapts….

Acclimation went fine and I don't have any bullies any longer. I'm going to try a fresh water dip and bring in a cleaner shrimp for the parasites. Soak my sis in Vit C and garlic....

IMO dipping will only stress it further (catching it, handling it, etc)

I would not do the fresh water dip at this point. The less stress the better. And like mentioned keep him eating and on healthy food.

If he will eat pellets try new life spectrum Thera +a. They also have several other formulas of food and may have one for Angels. I use the one mentioned and the small fish pellets. And all my fish love them.

Don't dip him. His issues sound stress related. Best to keep him eating and just letting him be.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
No dip for me also. I would also not get a cleaner shrimp unless you want in general.

    Agreed on both.

Flame Angels are not nearly as hardy as they were once thought to be. All should be quarantined for at least 6 weeks minimum IMO. I know its a little late for you, so that's more for others seeing this. I do hope yours pulls through.

Thanks guys. No dip? Ok, makes sense not to stress him any longer. I did get the cleaner shrimp, but I also just wanted him.

He is still eating, fed mysis soaked in vitamin C and garlic supplements.

He has long stringy white poo. I have never noticed this before... :-/
