    Right now I have a niger and Picasso. My clown and pink tail died from internal parasites recently and then my undulate died from some type of necrosis. That was extremely upsetting But I do plan on getting replacements. It's my next build project sometime next month.

    When Actinics alone are on, this guy swims all over the tank like crazy, it's hard to get a good pic of him

    they look pretty good actually. not as bright but still nice.
    my fuge is now covered in pods thanks to the macro i got from you.

    Dang, I can't get my open brain to look like that. Mine is bleaching right now in 5.24 watts per gallon of light...

    Once again Sid, I'm digging what you've done.

    Humm, that's strange, the light I plan on putting on my tank is roughly 8.5 watts per gallon. The MH alone is 750Watts. I plan on keeping the middle bulb off therefore making it 500Watts of MH and 322Watts of Actinics.
    I'm sensing this would be a bad idea.
    Should I leave my low wattage, crappy, outdated lights on and forget about the new fixture?
