You all put me in the mood to do a nano for my bedroom. I just couldn't help it.

My first major obstacle was to clean my room. I literally put that task off for weeks. I finally did it this morning.

The 15gal is an acrylic tank that my boss built a couple years back and never got to use it so he gave me two of em. One of which I accidentally broke while trying to clean it. The one that broke was built better than the one I'm using now but say what. This nano tank is just an experiment.
It's made up in such a way that you employ both under gravel filtration and surface skimming. I don't plan to use a sump, maybe later on I'll put one in place, for now, I just want to see how this sumpless design will work.
The back of it has an area that I'm making into a refugium.
Later on I'll be putting on a HOB filter if I decide not to add a sump.
I'm using a cheap air stone driven protein skimmer that I had laying around. I don't even think that I'll need it since I plan on doing weekly WC's as with all my other systems.

The product so far. No salt nor sand added yet, just testing the plumbing. The piece of rock in there is just to show that the tank is saltless but still cool;)

I was thinking about LEDs as they would be the best solution but as soon as I can find someone to fund me the LEDs, then I'd get em;)
I'm thinking about T5 retrofit because of how the tank is made up.
I want to run 12,000K's and Actinics in the front portion and a 6,500K in the back portion for the fuge.
