I have some NAssarious snails, blue legged hermits, but they are all very tiny. Any big sifters that would help move this sand bed around?

I have no experience with these but I have heard they do poorly in tanks less than 100 gal. Seems they can't find enough food to make them happy. They are supposed to be good sifters but I would do some more reseach on them.

Yeah my sand sifting star disengrated in my 20 after a while. :(

A fighting conch is another option.

If your sand is mature and your fish are compatible, a Diamond Goby is a serious sand sifter. Needs suplimental food too (use a turkey baster).

Wow. I think you just sold me on them. Thanks Jim! ;D

I am not for sure but I believe these snail come from temperate waters and can have difficulties acclimating to tropical temps. I would suggest putting them in a QT tank in case of die off. I will probably end up purchasing some of these as well just be aware of the risk.

Wouldn't these snails wreak havoc on a DSB? There is supposed to be undisturbed layers in a DSB and these guys will be burrowing all over the place.....just a thought ;D
