    I have a load of Nassaurius snails and they are the best sand stirrers in my book. My DSB is nice and clean and healthy!

    They only burrow down about a 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch? My tank reaches 82 degrees sometimes (not now it's winter ;D ) I haven't had a problem yet, But if I do I will let you know.

    I've been using them for a year or so. Aside from a Clown Trigger that likes to snack on them I've had no problems and they do a great job.
