    hello guys!
    sorry for the newbie question..
i was just wondering about this...
are there any signs that your lighting is enough for your corals?
i mean if its not enough would the colour change, LPS not expanding enough... etc....
and does weekly feeding of LPS corals healthy? or is it too much???
    cheers guys!

I would say a weekly feeding works for most cases. I feed rods reef food at nightime so my lps usually get theres. Otherwise I will spot feed them about once a week. Might depend on if you have any hard to keep LPS though.

If lighting isn't enough you will see slower growth, browning in SPS and occasionally in certain LPS browning as well. If they are not opening all the way, do you mean expanding feeding tentacles or the polyps don't look fleshy?

What is the lighting, tank size and corals in question?

    +1....what cha got?

Also, a lot of zoos will react differently to let you know if you have enough light, but they cannot tell you exactly how much they want and they will always adjust over time. Some of my zoos tip their rims up or down when my lighting differs.
