Silent & Fail-Safe Aquarium Overflow System

If I ever set up a new tank I might go this route.

Yes. Just saying I like how this overflow is setup.

 

My point is that you can get the same thing with a RR tank. Do a Herbie overflow. Totally silent, safe, and bubble free. Same basic premise, only two pipes.

What I like about the link I posted in that the overflow doesn't go to the bottom of the tank. So you can make it wider to skim more surface area.
The Herbie overflow is cool also if you have the 2 holes already drilled on your tank. Thanks for the link!
